ADUs Built Around a Kitchen That Works

An ADU is a full home in a small footprint, and its kitchen takes the most planning per square foot. We draw that first, then fit the rest of the unit around it.

A small kitchen that still works

An ADU kitchen can share a wall with the living area. We draw a layout with a full-size sink, a cooktop with venting, a fridge and real counter space, then place the bath beside it so the plumbing runs stay short.

Plans, permits and utilities

An ADU needs a full permit set: site plan, floor plan, structure, energy compliance and utilities. We prepare the plans, submit them, answer plan check comments and coordinate the water, sewer, gas and electrical connections to the main house or the street.

Detached, attached or a garage conversion

A detached unit gives the most privacy. An attached unit shares a wall and sometimes utilities. A garage conversion reuses a slab and walls, though both are checked before we count on them. We compare the three for your lot before drawing.
