Kitchen Remodeling, Layout First

The kitchen is the room that sets the budget and the schedule of a remodel. We get the layout and the lines behind the walls right, then help you choose what you will see.

The layout comes first

We measure the room and draw the paths between the sink, the range and the fridge, the landing space beside each, the walkways and the door swings. If the room needs a wall moved or an island added, it shows up here, before anything is priced.

Ventilation, gas and power

A range hood needs a duct path to the outside. A gas range needs a properly sized line, and an induction range needs a dedicated circuit that an older panel may not have. Counter outlets, lighting and appliance circuits are planned with the cabinets, not after them.

Cabinets, counters and finishes

Cabinet sizes come straight from the drawn layout. Counters are templated after the boxes are set so the two match exactly. Then tile, hardware, lighting and paint are chosen against a plan that already works.
