Kitchen Remodeling in Eagle Rock
When an Eagle Rock kitchen moves to another room, Navon Home plans the whole house first: plumbing, gas and power routes, then the old room's next use.
Whole Home Remodeling takes the lead in an Eagle Rock house once the kitchen is meant to change rooms. Moving it to the back of the plan, or into a former dining room, pulls fresh plumbing, a gas line and new circuits through spaces that were never built for them. That reaches floors, walls and ceilings well past the kitchen, so we draw the full house before pricing a single cabinet.
Routing lines to the new room
A drain needs fall, so the first question is how the new sink connects to the main stack and whether the pipe can slope there under the floor or through a crawlspace. A vent has to rise through the walls or the attic to the roof. The gas line is sized for the range it will feed, and the panel is checked for open spaces to carry new counter and appliance circuits. Each route is drawn on the plan with its path marked through joists and studs, so the framing cuts are known before any wall comes open.
What the old kitchen becomes, and the permit
Once the sink and range leave, the old room needs its own plan. Capped lines are tested and left where an inspector can see them, patched walls get new board, and the floor is leveled so one surface can run from the new kitchen into the converted space. LADBS, the building office of the City of Los Angeles, handles plan check for Eagle Rock and inspects the rough plumbing, gas and wiring before anything closes. Kitchens in Glendale, Pasadena, South Pasadena and Alhambra follow the same whole house sequence with us.
What we plan and build in Eagle Rock
Every project here starts the same way: a measured layout, then the lines behind the walls, then finishes.
