Kitchen Remodeling in La Canada Flintridge
Navon Home runs a La Canada Flintridge kitchen the same way as in Pasadena or Glendale: one measured layout, one order of work and one written quote.
Kitchens in La Canada Flintridge are run on the same plan we use in Pasadena, Glendale, Burbank, Altadena, Eagle Rock and South Pasadena. Each starts with a measured visit and a drawn layout, moves through cabinets and the hood, gas and power routes, and ends with counters, tile and paint. Two things differ from town to town: the office that issues the permit and whether the parcel shows up on a fire hazard map.
One order of work across neighboring towns
The visit records the room in numbers: wall lengths, ceiling height, window and door positions, and where the panel, gas meter and main drain sit. The layout drawn from those numbers fixes the sink, range and refrigerator and the space to walk between them. Cabinets are ordered to that plan, and the hood duct, gas pipe and circuits are routed to the exact appliance positions. Counters are templated from the installed boxes so the slab fits what was built. Holding that order steady in every town means the quote reads the same way wherever the house stands.
What changes at the permit counter
Pasadena, Glendale and Burbank each run their own building division. Eagle Rock belongs to the City of Los Angeles and goes through LADBS, and Altadena, being unincorporated, goes through the county. For La Canada Flintridge we file with the department that serves the city and follow its submittal list. Some of the city is on the state fire hazard maps. A mapped lot can bring ember-resistance requirements to a new window or to a hood that exits through a wall. We check the parcel map before the layout is final, since those requirements can change the parts list and the drawings.
What we plan and build in La Canada Flintridge
Every project here starts the same way: a measured layout, then the lines behind the walls, then finishes.
